Meet Our Presenters:

Maggie Steen

is the owner of MM Equine Enterprises. An experienced saddle fitter who has worked on over 50 saddle brands for a variety of English and western disciplines. She has completed brand training from numerous brands, independent training, studied anatomy and biomechanics in depth, and developed an educational saddle disassembly program to help horse owners learn more about saddle construction, quality, and fit through disassembly!

You don’t want to miss this demo. Saddle fit can impact performance, behavior, and training.

Grey Parks

will join us to discuss equine nutrition, body condition, and feeding for specific common conditions.

Grey is a native of Fayetteville, TN, and a life-long horse lover. Determined to turn her love of horses into a career, she earned a B.S. in Agriculture with a concentration in Animal Science from Tennessee Technological University in 2007 and an M.S. in Animal Science with a research focus in equine nutrition from the University of Kentucky in 2009. She spent the first 10 years of her professional career in academia, working for the University of Tennessee and Auburn University.

Since 2020, Grey has worked for Tennessee Farmers Cooperative/ProTrition Feed as a sales specialist and nutritionist. A current resident of Cookeville, TN, Grey breeds, raises, and shows Arabian and Half Arabian ranch horses.

Danny Hill

of Original Horse Farriery has been in the equine industry for 30 years. She has been certified via the Equine Lameness Prevention Organization for 15 years, focusing on anatomy-based performance and rehabilitation.

Based in Kentucky by way of New Mexico and Texas, Danny will discuss the importance of anatomy-based hoof care for soundness and rehabbing common ‘tough’ cases such as chronic laminitis and long toe/low heel.
